Inside Out-Upside Down celebrates the launch of Dragana Perisic's Autumn/Winter 2007 collection alongside embroideries by Carly Jane O'Hara.
The new garments are comprised of sumptuous fabrics in rich tones that maintain their reputation for obsessive detail and beautiful fit. The dream-like designs are complemented with the stark and structured embroideries that are dotted around the shop, the monochrome thread on muslin blending seamlessly into this seasons palette.
This unique fashion toys with design- many of the pieces having been reversed and turned inside out during the making process, before being exquisitely finished. The embroideries also explore this idea with their translucency allowing light to penetrate the fabric and the delicate structure that makes up the image is exposed through the canvas.
